BY SDCELAR TEAM| POSTED IN Blog

You can now watch the British Museum Member's talk about Latin America and the Caribbean, in which SDCELAR curators and collaborators speak about collection projects with living communities in the region.

Coinciding with the Indigenous Peoples Resistance Day, on the 12th of October, SDCELAR was joined by Yaqui architect Selina Martínez (US) and Wapichana artist Gustavo (Brazil) Caboco to give an online presentation at the British Museum’s Members talk on the Latin America and Caribbean collections and some of the Centre’s collaborative projects. The British Museum’s Latin American and Caribbean collections comprise more than 60,000 objects, including works of art created in the last 12,000 years. Watch us to learn more.
